I guess I am assuming that something got corrupted somehow, something that is not fixed by simply deleting and reinstalling the application. I can't find anything in the console logs that I can make any sense of.Īny suggestions, tips? I don't know where to go from here, other than to switch to the admin account whenever I want to run fligi, which would be inconvenient.Īnyone else running Fldigi on a Mac operating under OS X 10.13.6 ? I did use Fldigi some time after that upgrade, however, so I don't think it is related but am not sure. There was an OS X upgrade recently to 10.13.6 from 10.13.5, I believe about a week or so ago. ![]() Like it's starting to start, then changes it's mind. What happens is that, when I try to start up Fldigi, the icon shows up in the Dock momentarily, then disappears. I always run my computers from a user account, not admin. It will run if I log in as administrator, but not if I am logged in as a user. I tried version 14.1.14 with no luck either. I tried deleting and reinstalling it, which did not correct the problem. Curiously, when I got this Mac from the owner, only the 10.13.6 update was pending. ![]() Near the end of the iTunes update, the main screen went black again (in fact it’s in that state right now I’m using the external display to type this). For unknown reasons, Fldigi no longer starts on my iMac (mid-2011) OSX 10.13.6 when logged in as a user. It worked fine until I tried to run the online updates for iTunes 12.8 and HS 10.13.6.
